Project Overview and Key Design Considerations
Goldfarb Industries (now Hindustan Gold), a subsidiary of the Australian Bricklane Resources, has established India’s first merchant-scale precious metals concentrate and ore processing plant. This landmark facility is designed to process both high-grade concentrates and lean-grade materials, filling a critical gap in the domestic precious metals supply chain. An expansive 200,000 sqm plot will be developed to scale up capacity from 200 MT to 1,000 MT per month.
The architectural and structural design was meticulously planned to accommodate distinct, highly technical process zones. Given the high-value and hazardous nature of the chemicals used (such as cyanide and strong acids), the facility features advanced security infrastructure, acid-resistant flooring, and specialized ventilation systems.

VMS Scope and Project Outcomes
VMS provided foundational consultancy services to bring this complex Australian-backed venture to life. Our scope focused on Master Planning, creating Schematic 3D views to visualize the multi-stage facility, and developing a Preliminary Budget (with a precise +/- 15% variation) to guide the client’s capital investment strategy.
We worked closely with the client to translate complex metallurgical requirements into a functional industrial master plan that allows for future expansion by multinational partners. The successful implementation of this design has resulted in a world-class refinery that sets a new benchmark for precious metal extraction in India.
