Project Overview and Key Design Considerations

Tech-Long Packaging Machinery, a prominent joint venture between a leading Chinese global equipment manufacturer and local partners, has established its greenfield manufacturing base in Bavla. The facility is specialized in producing high-tech solutions for the liquid packaging industry, including PET blow molding machines, filling systems, and downstream packaging equipment.

The architectural centerpiece of the facility is a G+1 Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) building specifically engineered to house a sophisticated array of CNC (Computer Numerical Control) and VNC (Vertical Numerical Control) machines. The layout integrates high-bay assembly areas with a specialized machining center, allowing for a seamless transition from component fabrication to final machine assembly and testing.

VMS Scope and Project Outcomes

VMS provided a full multidisciplinary design package, including Master Planning, Architectural, Structural Design, and MEPF services, alongside the development of the Civil Infrastructure and Utilities. Our structural team delivered a well-designed structure for the G+1 block, accommodating heavy machine tools while optimizing the floor layout for high-precision manufacturing.

We also engineered specialized industrial utilities, including high-precision compressed air networks and stable power distribution systems essential for sensitive CNC operations. The master planning focused on maximizing the utility of the plot while ensuring streamlined material handling from raw metal inflow to the dispatch of large-scale bottling lines.
