Project Overview and Key Design Considerations

This multidisciplinary facility was designed to support Suvjay Industries’ diverse production lines, ranging from rubber and plastic components to complex food processing machinery. The architectural challenge lay in creating a versatile industrial environment that could accommodate heavy design fabrication for stainless steel and aluminum alongside precision plastic molding. We focused on a modular shop floor layout to facilitate the assembly of specialized equipment like gherkin and fruit processing machinery.

The structural design incorporates heavy-duty flooring and high-capacity gantry systems required for handling massive material handling equipment. We engineered the plant with wide spans to ensure unobstructed movement for large-scale fabrication projects and machine testing.

VMS Scope and Project Outcomes

VMS provided integrated Architectural, Structural, and MEPF consultancy services, supporting Suvjay’s diverse manufacturing needs. Our scope included the design of complex electrical networks for fabrication machinery and specialized utility piping for rubber and plastic processing. We coordinated the master planning to allow for future capacity expansion, ensuring the facility remains a flexible hub for innovation in food processing and material handling technologies.

The successful execution of this plant has centralized Suvjay’s operations into a high-performance manufacturing center within the Sanand industrial hub.
