Project Overview and Key Design Considerations
This Phase-2 expansion project involved designing a specialized 8,000 sqm facility dedicated to manufacturing massive rotor blade moulds for the wind energy sector. The primary challenge was accommodating the extreme lengths of next-generation moulds, ranging from 80 to 100 meters.
Our architectural planning focused on a specialized linear layout that facilitates the complex composite layup and curing processes required for such large-scale, high-precision industrial components. The structural design addressed the unique requirement for massive, unobstructed clear spans to allow the maneuvering of 100-meter-long moulds.
