World Green Energy Develops 2 GW Cell & 1.6 GW Module Manufacturing Facility in Odisha
VMS is currently engaged with World Green Energy Pvt. Ltd. for the development of a greenfield solar manufacturing facility at Gopalpur, Odisha. The project includes the establishment of a 2.0 GW solar PV cell manufacturing plant and a 1.6 GW solar PV module production facility, strengthening India’s domestic solar manufacturing capacity.
VMS is providing master layout planning, architectural design, structural engineering, PHE services, and coordination of utilities, along with periodic site visits to support execution. The facility is being designed to accommodate advanced photovoltaic production lines with efficient layouts, robust infrastructure, and scalability for future expansion.
This ongoing project reinforces VMS’s expertise in solar cell and module manufacturing plant design, supporting large-scale renewable energy infrastructure aligned with India’s clean energy and manufacturing growth objectives.
