SIG Advances Phase 2 Expansion with Extrusion Line at Bhayla Facility
Following the successful commissioning of India’s first aseptic carton packaging plant, SIG Combibloc has initiated Phase 2 expansion at its Bhayla facility within Horizon Industrial Park, Gujarat. The expansion includes the addition of a dedicated extrusion line building, strengthening in-house manufacturing capability for aseptic carton packs.
The Phase 2 development is designed to seamlessly integrate with the existing facility. VMS is delivering architectural, civil, structural (including PEB design), MEPF, HVAC engineering, BOQ and tender documentation, along with full 3D BIM modelling for coordinated execution and utility planning.
This expansion further demonstrates VMS’s expertise in cleanroom-driven packaging plant design, extrusion facility engineering, and BIM-led industrial infrastructure development, supporting global manufacturing standards in the food and beverage packaging sector.
