JSW Renewable Technologies Advances 1 GW Solar Module Facility in Telangana
VMS Consultants is proud to be associated with JSW Renewable Technologies in their foray into solar manufacturing. The company is developing a 1 GW integrated solar module manufacturing facility in Barmer, Rajasthan, across a land parcel of approximately 60 acres. This marks a significant step in strengthening India’s renewable energy manufacturing ecosystem.
While basic engineering and inquiry documents are developed by JSW’s process consultants, VMS is entrusted with the complete detailed engineering and design scope. This includes architectural design, structural systems, MEPF services, and layout development aligned with the plant’s process flow and operational efficiency.
Our role is to translate the process requirements into a fully functional, compliant, and future-ready solar module production infrastructure. With a focus on scalability and integrated systems, the facility will support large-scale, high-throughput solar module assembly and packaging operations.
