Waaree Renewables Commissions 5 GW Solar Module Manufacturing Facility
VMS Consultants is proud to have provided MEP design consultancy services for Waaree Renewables Pvt. Ltd. as part of their large-scale 5 GW solar PV module manufacturing facility in Chikhli, Gujarat. Developed on a 100-acre site, this facility consolidates and expands Waaree’s solar production capabilities, including the relocation of 2 GW lines from their Tumb plant and installation of new lines for the remaining 3 GW.
Our scope of work included the design of critical utility systems such as electrical (excluding 66 kV switchyard), fire protection, water supply, chilled water, exhaust, and compressed air systems. Each system was engineered to meet the specific operational and process needs of high-volume solar module production—ensuring reliability, safety, and long-term performance.
This collaboration reflects VMS’s growing expertise in delivering robust, future-ready MEP solutions for solar manufacturing infrastructure, contributing to India’s expanding clean energy ecosystem.
