Vikram Solar Inaugurates 6 GW Solar PV Module Manufacturing Plant in Tamil Nadu

Congratulations to our client, Vikram Solar, on the inauguration of its 6 GW solar PV module manufacturing plant at Gangaikondan, Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu. Developed within a large greenfield campus, the new facility represents a significant expansion of Vikram Solar’s manufacturing capacity and contributes to the continued growth of India’s domestic solar manufacturing ecosystem.

VMS is pleased to be associated with this project as the design consultancy partner for the module manufacturing facility, providing master planning, architectural, structural, utility, electrical, tendering, and procurement support. The Gangaikondan campus is also planned for progressive development of solar cell, wafer, and ingot manufacturing, creating an integrated solar manufacturing ecosystem.
