CESC Green Power Develops 3 GW Solar Cell Manufacturing Facility at Jewar

VMS is currently associated with CESC Green Power Limited, a subsidiary of the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group, for the development of a 3 GW solar cell manufacturing facility at Jewar, Uttar Pradesh. As part of its growing renewable energy portfolio, CESC Green Power is investing in advanced solar manufacturing infrastructure to support India’s transition toward clean energy and domestic solar production.

The facility is being planned to accommodate large-scale solar cell manufacturing operations, supported by specialized utility and process systems required for high-technology production environments. VMS is providing multidisciplinary engineering services including architecture, structural design, electrical systems, mechanical utilities, chemical systems, gas distribution networks, ETP design, and fire protection engineering to ensure a coordinated facility.

This ongoing project reinforces VMS’s expertise in solar cell manufacturing plant design, semiconductor-like industrial facilities, and renewable energy infrastructure development, helping clients establish world-class manufacturing ecosystems.
