We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor / Cost Estimator (Civil) with 3–4 years of experience in civil contracting or consultancy organizations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of civil construction activities and cost estimation practices, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in every aspect of the work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate quantity take-offs (BOQ) supported by measurement sheets and hand sketches.
- Collaborate closely with structural engineers, architects, and other design disciplines to ensure coordinated outputs.
- Review AutoCAD drawings to extract measurements and dimensions for quantity estimation.
- Conduct rate analysis for civil construction items in accordance with CPWD/DSR formats.
- Prepare, verify, and certify running and final bills for civil construction projects.
- Maintain organized documentation for cost estimation, quantity tracking, and billing processes.
- Apply both theoretical and practical knowledge across RCC work, roads, infrastructure projects, buildings, structural steel, architectural finishes, plumbing, sanitary items, and aluminium section works.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma, B.E., B. Tech, M.E., or M. Tech in Civil Engineering or Construction.
- 3–4 years of quantity surveying experience in civil contracting or consulting environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with AutoCAD for quantity measurements.
- Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of civil construction activities.
- Ability to work independently and prepare accurate, well-supported quantity take-offs.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in industrial projects is an added advantage.
