Premier Energies Commissions India’s Largest 7 GW Solar Cell Manufacturing Facility

Congratulations to our client, Premier Energies, on commissioning its 7 GW N-type TOPCon G12R solar cell manufacturing facility at Naidupeta, Andhra Pradesh. As India’s largest solar cell manufacturing facility, the new plant takes Premier Energies’ total solar cell manufacturing capacity to 10.6 GW and represents a major addition to India’s domestic solar manufacturing ecosystem.

The facility is designed for high-efficiency N-type TOPCon solar cell production, supported by advanced automation and digitally enabled manufacturing systems. VMS is pleased to be associated with this landmark project as the design consultancy partner, providing architectural, structural, electrical and fire protection engineering services.

We congratulate the Premier Energies team on this significant milestone.
