ReNew Photovoltaics Develops 4 GW Ingot & Wafer Manufacturing Facility in Andhra Pradesh

VMS is currently associated with ReNew Photovoltaics Pvt. Ltd. for the development of a 4 GW solar ingot and wafer manufacturing facility at Rambilli, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The project expands ReNew’s presence across the solar manufacturing value chain, adding upstream ingot and wafer production to support India’s growing domestic solar manufacturing ecosystem.

VMS is providing multidisciplinary design and engineering consultancy for the project, including master layout planning, architectural and structural design, MEP engineering, ETP design, and coordination of services, along with site support. Planning for an ingot and wafer facility requires coordinated integration of manufacturing areas, utilities, water and effluent systems, and supporting infrastructure.

This project builds on VMS’s continued association with ReNew across multiple solar manufacturing developments, including both completed and ongoing assignments. It further strengthens our experience in integrated solar manufacturing plant design, ingot and wafer manufacturing infrastructure, and renewable energy industrial engineering.
